Nothing to talk about, so I’ll just post something from the latest roll here. Like other of my rolls recently, Kodak ColorPlus 200 processed in a consumer lab in Bendungan Hilir area. There’s been words about a good lab in Tanjung Duren area so probably I’ll try hitting there next time.
Scan with Epson V330, still need to learn much about adjusting the curves for more interesting colours.

Originally just to burn in the earlier frames and spending some time. Out of the six frames, this (and the typical close up of flower) is the best of the bunch.Weather like it has been for a while, is cloudy sprinkled with slight drizzles.
Kind of forgotten if I do any processing on this one because the colour seems to be right enough. Not too much saturation.
Accompanied my mother to the Sunter marketplace. Not so interested in the shopping, but there are things to be shot right ? :D
During the afternoon, after family dinner, I hang around this spot for a while and originally planned to spend out the whole roll. But seems like there’s not that much things so six frames are left.
This would be my main session. Together with a friend, we have a photo walk to the Pramuka street bird market. It’s a marketplace specializing in selling birds (of course). In the past, there has also been illegal trade in this place so I’m rather worried that they wont be friendly towards peoples with camera. Fortunately, seems like the illegal trade has moved somewhere else.
Thus, they don’t care much about camera especially for one or two tourists.
Not just in the marketplace but the neighbourhood in the vicinity, especially those that face the main street, also sell birds of various kind.
This is really a nice photo spot. The main objects here are alleys filled with bird cage. The interior is dark, but with natural light coming from outside of the centre void, silhouette shots could became the typical of what you can get here.
Last one is from spending the film in Kebayoran Lama marketplace. In this area there’s also a lab still famous among film shooters in Jakarta for processing film. I never used the service here, especially after the talk of how the quality is varying.
Also near there is a junk market. Don’t expect to find treasure though, such as camera. “Entrepreneurs” had already scourged the old camera stores clean of valuable things they can get for cheap to sell it with eBay price.
The dirtiness is really detracting from the charm of the place.
